It’s not often that our first wedding of the year takes place in January (although last year the first wedding of the year was on Jan. 1st!), but this winter wedding in Stowe, VT was not your typical winter white affair.
The addition of burgundy and orange with white and green blooms creates an unexpected burst of color for this January wedding.
Flowers featured here include roses, tulips, amaryllis, scabiosa, ranunculus, genistra, leucodendron, genistra, agonis, seeded eucalyptus, carnations and dusty miller. White hydrangea and green amaranthus make a statement on the mantelpiece which was the backdrop for the intimate ceremony.
I love the combination of texture and color. This was a great start to 2016. It’s a pleasure to get to work outside of the box!
My next big event isn’t scheduled until May, but I’ve got more to share in the upcoming weeks! Thanks for stopping by my blog.
