One stand out moment from my 15th year in business was working for my alma mater, The University of Vermont, this season. I designed the arrangements for a very special dinner at The Fleming Museum as well as some accent pieces for the newly renovated Alumni House which was officially unveiled in time for Alumni Weekend.
As a proud UVM grad it was an honor to be a part of this important weekend for the university. (It was also fun to do something out of my usual “wedding box” which is clearly where I specialize!)
When I first toured the Alumni House the details and restored architecture are what struck me most. The house is absolutely beautiful and the addition of the Sterling Pavillion means there is a brand new event space right in Burlington!
So….when Andrea from UVM Alumni House asked if I’d participate in a photoshoot this fall I was more than happy to be included.
The flowers featured here include ranunculus, roses, astilbe, anemone, astrantia, lisianthus, phlox, cremones, hazelnut foliage, eucalyptus, and thistle. This plum, lavender, white and grey palette transcends season. It feels like the new modern, classic combo.
The makeup is flawless. Jennifer Perellie has the magic touch.
Cheers! to UVM Alumni House and the team who worked to create this shoot:
