I can’t say enough about how much I love this color palette! Purples, lavenders, peaches, pinks and whites with touches of greenery created the most beautiful summer vibe for a Vermont wedding at The Barn at Smuggler’s Notch.
The bridal bouquet featured dahlias, roses, butterfly ranunculus, spray roses, scabiosa, and stock with touches of jasmine vine and ferns for texture and interest.
The ceremony and reception flowers highlight the plum-purples with purple delphinium, lavender hybrid delphinium, and accents of peach roses, pink spray roses and eucalyptus with touches of thistle and succulents. We had fun adding greenery and roses to the chandeliers in the barn as well!
The details all came together so beautifully here–from the amethyst glassware to the chargers to the lavender napkin and the menu cards–every element on the table created a cohesive design and the flowers were the topper for sure! Even the wrist corsages with lavender delphinium, plum ranunculus and sedum were a great accessory.
As a designer, it’s fun to work with color, but I know it can be hard to pick a palette sometimes. If you’re not sure how to bring some color to the decor, the flowers, linens and glassware can all add a great touch of color!
