Lake Champlain Chocolates is definitely a Burlington favorite on the chocolate scene and Grace Potter and the Nocturnals are a huge favorite on the music scene so when the two paired up to make a limited edition chocolate bar I expected that it would be fab-u-lous. I’m happy to report that it did not disappoint.
“Grace Under Fire” is aptly named. The dark chocolate with roasted pistachios and red pepper is a brilliant combination of chocolate, salt, sweet and heat that is one of the best red pepper + chocolate combos I’ve ever tasted.
This is a limited edition chocolate bar (a small splurge at $5) so you might want to stock up while you can. If you’re down on Church Street today for Mardi Gras stop on by the chocolate shop to get yourself a taste.
