Small and fabulous. That’s how I’d describe this intimate family wedding at The Inn at The Round Barn in Waitsfield this October.
A floral palette of oranges, peaches, whites and greens with a pop of burgundy added a bright, autumnal feeling to the day. Including spray roses, mums, ranunculus, celosia, stock, astrantia, amaranthus, hydrangea and eucalyptus.
A bit of rain was no problem as we moved the ceremony inside and the mantle became a beautiful backdrop.
Part of a florist’s job is to adapt when things change last-minute and it was so much fun to switch gears from “wedding arbor” to “wedding mantle”. I’m so happy with how this turned out.
Fall weddings are a perfect opportunity to embrace nature’s palette and lean into the textures of the season as well. I always love a fall wedding in Vermont.
