The last day of February. It’s most definitely still winter in Vermont, but as I look out my kitchen window I see the hopeful signs of spring.
Busy birds at my feeder and a sunny morning bring me peace of mind that the inevitable transition will come.
I’ve heard that the sap has been flowing and maple syrup is boiling. Slowly and surely spring will arrive.
At this time of year when there is so much to look forward to I think flowers represent the best of what’s to come.
