Vermont Farmhouse Wedding

Today’s wedding is a blue, purple and white affair that took place at the groom’s family home in Vermont.  There was a lot of TLC and preparation that went into grooming the landscape for the affair.  Karen and Joe put together some personalized details to make for a fun wedding day complete with a beer pong barn.  A tented reception catered by Spice of Life was shaping up to be a festive destination for all of their out of town guests.

The bride carried a bouquet of light blue hydrangea, delphinium, lisianthus, freesia, ranunculus, and fresh mint.

A look at one of the bridesmaid’s bouquets which contrasted so nicely with their blue dresses.

A boutonniere of white spray rose and scabiosa with rosemary and seeded eucalyptus.

Centerpieces designed in rustic tin containers included light blue hydrangea, delphinium, royal purple stock, white spray roses, freesia, scabiosa, seeded eucalyptus and rosemary.

The place cards were displayed on chicken wire and represented by postcards of places the couple planned to visit on their honeymoon!

Pretty cute, huh?

Love this old sign on the side of the beer pong barn!

Arrangements designed in sap buckets helped to frame the ceremony site in front of one of the barns.

It was a beautiful setting.

Congratulations to Karen and Joe who had an August day as perfect as the Vermont setting.
