It was another absolutely perfect Vermont day for Darcie and Kyle’s wedding at Basin Harbor Club. A clear, sunny September sky and the perfect temperature made for a fantastic outdoor setting. The style for their wedding was seasonal, natural and colorful with multicolored bouquets and rustic wooden boxes for the centerpieces.
The bride carried a bouquet of burgundy and orange dahlias, deep pink and red ranunculus, yellow freesia, orange spray roses, pink godetia, dianthus and deep blue delphinium.
Her six bridesmaids carried similar bouquets of red and orange spray roses, dianthus, dahlias, freesia, godetia and delphinium.
Color. You’ve got to just love color. It makes the transition from summer to fall feel so right!
The ceremony took place under the wedding arch adorned with a garland of Asiatic lilies, burgundy dahlias, green hydrangea, spray roses, delphinium and dianthus.
Cocktail hour by the lake looks so relaxing.
Centerpieces were designed in rustic wooden boxes filled with lilies, hydrangea, delphinium, dahlias, godetia and spray roses.
Darcie and Kyle are the first couple I’ve had who made a donation to VT Irene Flood Relief for their favors.
The tables were marked with animal paintings instead of numbers which were painted by the bride’s brother. They were absolutely beautiful and so unique! The elephants were just one of my favorites.
Darcie and Kyle are a local, Vermont couple who put a fun spin on their wedding day including a gumball machine of mint candies that reminded them of the restaurant where they met as co-workers. (So sweet, right?!) Congratulations on your beautiful wedding day! You had a relaxed, casual approach to planning and were a pleasure to work with. I hope your day was perfect in every way!
