Fall weddings and amazing foliage are in full swing here in Vermont! Liz and Dan tied the knot at Windekind Farm in Huntington over the weekend surrounded by the most beautiful bucolic scenery. Liz wanted fall flowers with a natural, harvesty feeling. Liz looked so beautiful when I saw her standing on the porch posing for her photographer Stina Booth and Dan looked seriously dapper in his linen suit. There was a chill in the air, gorgeous foliage all around and cows in the field. What more could you want from a Vermont wedding?
The bride’s bouquet includes burgundy callas, mini-sunflowers, freesia, ‘Circus’ & ‘Milva’ roses, yellow freesia, burgundy dahlias, scabiosa & scabiosa pods, hypericum berries and agonis.
The five bridesmaids wore chocolate brown dresses with champagne pashminas. They were so elegant, yet autumnal all at once.
The men wore peach rose boutonnieres with burgundy hypericum berries.
Martha’s Catering of Middlebury created an apple cider station under an apple tree, of course. I love the cinnamon sticks in the mugs!
One cow.
Two cows.
The tent looked great with the colorful lanterns they set up!
The scene was quintessential Vermont. Guests ooh’ed and ahh’ed as they arrived.
Congratulations to Liz and Dan! You had the perfect fall wedding day and both looked fab-u-lous. It was a pleasure to work with you. You certainly created a memorable experience for your guests. Wedding well done!
