I’ve been designing wedding flowers for over 16 years and while I’ve been fortunate to work on hundreds of weddings and worked with many wonderful couples and their families, I never, ever take for granted the extreme amount of trust clients place in me as a wedding florist.
Dillon & Scott’s wedding at The Coach Barn at Shelburne Farms is an example of what extreme trust looks like from a mother of the groom who wanted a look that’s “elegant and of the season”, with a joyful look ahead to fall colors….but mostly, the decisions on flowers and colors were left to my discretion. No micro-managing here. Just freedom & trust.
I’m head over heels for this palette of purples, lavender, oranges, peaches and white with lots and lots of greenery. Flowers featured here include roses, scabiosa, dahlias, larkspur, snapdragons, stock, ranunculus, hydrangea and mums.
Congratulations to Dillon & Scott! It was a perfect “almost fall” day at Shelburne Farms….and I can’t wait to see professional images from Orchard Cove Photography!
