T’was a pleasure to work with Amanda & Patrick this May for my first wedding at The Skinner Barn. We did all of our planning long-distance and their easy-going, seasonal-Vermont vibe basically made them ideal clients. The couple brought some hometown flair up north with oyster tins as vessels for the flowers at the reception.
Blooms in these designs include lilacs, bridal veil spirea, coral peonies, ranunculus, dusty miller, delphinium, roses, freesia, snapdragons & hydrangea as well as a few touches of ladies mantle from my garden. You may spy some purple anemones in there as well.
Late May brings some of the most lovely days of pre-summer here in Vermont. We have a glow about us…a knowing, a twinkle in our eyes as we plan for all the warm sunshine that lies ahead. I wish you lots of warm sunshine in your future, Patrick & Amanda!
