My love for color is no secret, but this summer wedding at The Essex is a color explosion and I am here for it! Featuring pink peonies, orange and peach roses, hot pink spray roses, blue delphinium, yellow ranunculus, snapdragons, dusty miller, lady’s mantle and greenery, these wedding flowers definitely bring the color!
We played with color throughout the designs and the orange and blue boutonnieres practically caption themselves “Tell me the groom went to Syracuse without telling me the groom went to Syracuse!” (Again, I’m here for it!) The blue and white table runners add an extra special touch.
Why do I love color so much? Well, it’s fun, for one thing. As a florist, I am a fan of MOST flowers and I really can find beauty in most palettes–I mean, I also love classic whites and greens, of course!–but there is something delightful about a mixed, vibrant color palette.
Even though it turned out to be a rainy day, you can see how the flowers liven up the atrium!
Another reason I think colorful weddings bring so much joy is because with lots of color, you truly get an eye full!….there’s so much to take in!
I can see it in the reaction I get from wedding guests all the time! The more color, the bigger the smiles I get when I walk in the door. Flowers are a happy maker.
No matter your favorite colors, I’d be happy to talk with you about your Vermont wedding!
