This year I’ve got 2 super cool milk glass fanatic couples and Nicole and Jay’s wedding at Grand Isle Lake House is the first I get to show off to you.
I absolutely adore their vintage inspired feeling and the gardeny style of the bride’s bouquet. You’ll find roses, ranunculus, rosemary, freesia, bunny grass, lavender and crespedia (aka Billy balls) featured in the eclectic designs.
The bride’s bouquet is comprised of garden roses, ranunculus, hydrangea, hosta, ferns and incredibly delicate lily of the valley which is out of season, however, the groom made secret efforts to make sure I knew that he would spare no expense to get his bride her favorite bloom!
Romantic? yeah, just a little.
I particularly love how the milk glass looks in masse. It’s eclectic, yet elegant, fun, yet classy and really makes a statement about their personal style and attention to details. Each table had a vintage hankie to add one more level of sweet, sweet style and they handmade paper cones for the petals their guests would toss as they walked down the aisle.
Congratulations to Jay and Nicole! It was so fun to design for you.
