If you are looking for the key to my floral heart, it’s probably yellow! I love yellow flowers–both as an accent and as a main player in your floral palette.
Today I have an early summer wedding to share with you from Basin Harbor Club. It was a rainy day (that turned into a pretty rainy season actually!), but that’s why a great venue and their staff are ready for anything.
A rainy day is a true reminder of how much life and beauty flowers can bring to your special day! (And yes, the yellows do the heavy lifting when it comes to brightening up the entire day!)
The flowers featured here include yellow butterfly ranunculus, white, yellow and lavender roses, freesia, sweet peas, clematis, stock, eucalyptus, and bupleurum. To set the scene under the tent we added some climbing greenery and flowers to complement the centerpieces and bring more color into the tent. (Once again, I’m SO glad we did since the day was overall pretty gray and the flowers brought the color!)
Even if yellow doesn’t light you up like it does for me, a great color palette can truly reflect your personalities and set the scene for a beautiful day–no matter what mother nature has in store.
