Vermont Vows magazine inspires brides from near and far and this wedding drew major inspiration from a recent cover of the Fall/Winter 2009 issue. Erin & Andrew’s destination wedding at Hawk Inn & Mountain Resort in Plymouth, VT incorporates some truly lovely and thoughtful details that I hope will inspire you, too!
There are so many fun photos and details that I decided to break this up into 2 parts…here is part one!
The bride’s bouquet includes antique green hydrangea, white lisianthus, creme garden roses, white freesia and sweet peas for a classic, vintage inspired style. The stems are tied with a piece of organza from the bride’s dress and finished with a blue belt from her grandmother’s wedding dress! Her 9 bridesmaids wore different shades of teal and aqua blues and carried bouquets of green cabbage roses, peach Versillia roses, creme roses, orange tulips, ranunculus & pink nerine lilies with bupleurum.
Here are some of the bridesmaids’ bouquets packed and ready for delivery!
The vintage inspired centerpieces were designed in an eclectic mix of milk glass, lace covered vases, white cereamic urns and glass pedestal cake stands for a romantic, gardeny look.
Tables were named after mountain ranges and displayed in moss-covered frames. The mother of the bride grew wheat grass in raised planters and a few loose flowers finished the look.
Pashminas were wrapped on every other chair not only for additional decor, but as a gift to the women at the wedding just in case they got a little chilly in the evening. Each place card was set and the bride & groom’s chairs got a little special detail of garland and roses.
I love the color and style of this wedding. Tomorrow I’ll have a few more fun photos and details to share with you from Erin and Andrew’s big day. Click here for some more photos from this wedding.
