When I realized how many pictures I wanted to share from Erin and Andrew’s wedding I felt like it deserved 2 parts (click here to have a look at part 1). I absolutely adore their elegant garden-inspired style with touches of vintage flair. The bride and her mother were all about details and the tender loving care they put into planning for their guests all came together beautifully on the day of the wedding. The staff at Hawk Resort handled aspects from hanging lanterns and placing trees in the tent to seeing to it that each place setting was just right. I am always impressed with the care they put into each wedding.
Erin and Andrew were married at Christ the King Church in Rutland. It is a beautiful church with brilliant stained glass windows, woodwork & marble.
Here is another angle of the bride’s bouquet.
Guests arrived at The Hawk for cocktails on the lawn followed by a tented reception in the field surrounded by green, green grass and a tree-lined mountainside.
The mother of the bride sent me a variety of milk glass vessels that we used at the reception. Flowers include hydrangea, roses, campanula, nerine lilies, lisianthus, irises, tulips & dahlias. The soft palette of the lush, gardeny designs transformed the tent into an elegant venue.
The tent is an impressive sight as you cross over the wooden bridge and walk up to the field.
The gorgeous white wedding cake was created by Julie Lane of Slice of Life. It was absolutely beautiful. I made a small toss bouquet for the bride with dahlias, nerine lilies & roses.
Congratulations to Erin & Andrew on your beautiful wedding day! The emphasis you placed on the overall experience for your guests is what truly special wedding planning is all about. I hope your big day was all you dreamed it would be.
