One of the perks of being a florist is leftovers! The cream of the crop are always used for a wedding, of course, but from time to time the leftover blooms can be quite lovely. I posted some photos from my first wedding of 2016 and when my not-quite-4-year old son saw some leftovers he asked to make an arrangement.
John picked out all of the flowers he wanted to use. He told me where he wanted me to cut each stem. Then, he arranged them in the vase himself. It was awesome.
Another one of the perks of being a home-based florist is that I get to spend this quality time with my kiddo. (And then, brag about him on my blog!) xo -Alison
