Each year Pantone selects a “color of the year” and in truth, I don’t find that it often has much of an impact on the floral choices I see in Vermont weddings, however, Pantone’s color of the year for 2018 is “Ultra Violet”, which I must say does not come as a surprise to me!
I never take a beautiful wedding day for granted. It was a truly lovely day for this wedding at The Round Barn in Waitsfield, VT. Featured here are some of the most beautiful anemones. I rarely rely on anemones to come in “just so perfectly”, but lucky for me, they came in 2 weeks in
“Lavender and coral.” When the bride first said these words to me I thought….”hmmmm.” Coral flowers can be limiting at times, but when I heard she also loved gladiolus, well, I knew we had a good plan. You’ll see roses, succulents, scabiosa, eucalyptus and dusty miller foliage, freesia, stock, asters and gladiolus in these designs.
Burgundy & peach are so beautiful & rich together that they are easily one of my favorite color combos. While they are perfect for fall weddings this mid-summer couple did not shy away from the deep burgundy with pops of peach, orange and white for their wedding at The Round Barn. This season my fall weddings were not typical autumn palettes. I love fall flowers, but it was refreshing to have out-of-the-ordinary weddings and today’s look is special. This wedding includes a private home ceremony in a field (through the family’s apple orchard!) followed by a reception at The Round Barn in Waitsfield, VT. There were
Meline and Evans hosted their destination wedding on New Year’s weekend and they had a picturesque winter wonderland awaiting their arrival. The color palette was winter whites and silvers while being sure to stay clear of a holiday vibe. We did all of our planning & discussions long distance via e-mail, but with a little
Brenda and Mark were wed on a gorgeous fall day at The Inn At The Round Barn this October. A truly picturesque location, the Round Barn offers so many beautiful pastoral views and opportunities for a classic Vermont backdrop. Its quintessential Vermont vibe is sure to wow even native Vermonters and this autumnal color palette fit
Today’s wedding is not only charming, but captures the essence of a rustic-chic barn style. Cassie and Joel had their November wedding at The Round Barn with vintage details that truly represented the spirit of Vermont’s farm style. The groom is a large animal veterinarian so keeping the style “true to Vermont” was not only
It was an incredibly beautiful October day for Kristen and Chris’s wedding at The Round Barn. The sun was shining, the temperature was warm and love was in the air. This local Stowe, VT couple had a color palette with a nod to fall, but not an autumnal theme, so touches of lavenders and blues
Laura and Andrew selected The Round Barn in Waitsfield for their destination wedding in Vermont. For their fall wedding the color palette was anything but traditional autumnal tones. Members of the wedding party wore pinks and grays and the flowers featured pale to raspberry pinks with whites and yellows. Laura’s vision for a romantic, natural style is
