Summer Wedding At The Country Club Of Vermont

I’m very lucky to do work that I love so much.  I know this.  When I look at my wedding calendar there are many clients that stand-out in my mind for one reason or another and Erin is certainly one of them.

I can recall our initial phone consultation last summer as I was working in my studio and my husband was in the house probably attempting to put our baby to sleep.  I can remember talking to her like it was yesterday.  Lucky to do what I love is what I say.

Erin and Chris were married at St. Michael’s Chapel and had their reception at The Country Club of Vermont.  It threatened to rain…much like it has just about every single day this summer…but there were certainly sunny, summer skies that proceeded the precipitation.  Lucky?  Yes, I’d say lucky for sure.

The bride carried a bouquet of white peonies, roses, ranunculus, mini green hydrangea, lisianthus buds and baptisia foliage and hosta for a touch more green.

Moms carried small clutch bouquets that included sweet peas and lavender freesia.

Centerpieces were designed in silver containers provided by the bride’s sister-in-law who happens to be a florist in Pennsylvania.  Pretty handy to have a florist in the family when you’re getting married!

Accents of yellow at the reception added a touch of brightness to the lavender, white and green palette.

The covered porch and tent both provided shelter from the impending rain and made for a beautiful outdoor setting.

It was fun to work with all the different sizes and shapes of silver vessels.  Each table had its own look.

Flowers have a way of making a cake look lovely.  This cake smelled absolutely delicious.

Cocktail tables in The Club also included dark purple anemones.

The bride and groom made limoncello for their favors which also served as seating cards when guests arrived.  I love this personalized greeting & farewell!

Diminick-limoncelloCongratulations to Erin & Chris!  I cannot wait to see pictures of you two…Um, did I mention that Erin’s dress was SO beautiful?!  Truly.  All of your details came together beautifully.  I’m happy you chose me to be a part of your big day!

It was such a pleasure and delight to work with you, Alison! I can remember our first conversation like it was yesterday as well and knew immediately you were the perfect florist to make my vision come together. Everything you did was absolutely beautiful and to top it off, completely headache free! I never had a worry working with you. Thank you for helping to make the day perfect!
